| Biography: |
| Gerald finished as the Tide's fourth-leading tackler last season with 56 stops. He started all but one game last year and broke up 10 passes. He also had 32 tackles in his sophomore season, when he was limited the first half of the year with a broken wrist. He started the last half of his freshman season in 1999, the year he turned in his only interception as an Alabama defensive back. So far in 2002, Dixon is much improved and his a vocal leader among his defensive teammates. |
