2009: Birmingham News Super Senior Pre-Season
2008: Ladarius Owens finished his junior season with 92 tackles, 18 sacks and three tackles for loss. Owens was named 6A honorable mention DL by the ASWA. He reports a bench of 285-pounds, squat 485 and has a 36-inch vertical jump.
Owens plans to major in sports medicine and reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 20 ACT.
Owens: “I use my speed well and have good footwork. I can run hard and I have great technique. I’m strong too and play hard.
“I’m working on reading the offense. And I still want to improve my upper body strength.”
