| Sweeting caut 36 passes for 723 yards during his senior season scoring 10 touchdowns. Special Teams stats, six kick returns 103 yards, four punt returns for 39 yards.
Defensively, Sweeting had 58 total tackles, 32 solo, two interceptions, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble.
Awarded 5A First Team AJC DB, 5A Honorable Mention GSWA DB, and selected to the Offense/Defense Bowl.
Roderick Sweeting finished his junior season with 58 tackles, one interception, one blocked field goal and one fumble recovery. He also had seven touchdowns on offense and one kick returned for a score. He benches 225-pounds, squats 405 and has a 33-inch vertical jump.
Sweeting says he wants to major in business management and reports a 2.6 core GPA and took the ACT for the first time on June 14.
Sweeting: "I have great instincts and awareness. I have a nose for the ball and I'm very aggressive. I don't really talk trash and just do what I gotta do.
"I want to get into better position to pick the ball off. I'm also working on improving my footwork and am always trying to get faster."
