Started in all 13 games at his specialty...Punted 77 times for a 39.3-yard average, with a career-long 73-yard punt...Finished seventh in the SEC in punt average (39.3)...His 77 punts tied for the second-most ever at MSU in a single season and his 3,024 yards punting were the fourth most at the school...Twelve of his punts exceeded 50 yards and 18 came to rest inside the 20-yard line...Had four touchbacks and made two special teams tackles...Maintained his role as the team's regular punter to begin his third season.

Maintained his assignment as the team's first punter...Started all 12 games at his specialty...Punted 68 times for 2,598 yards, a 38.2-yard average...His 68 punts were the sixth-most ever in a single season at State...Had a season-long, 59-yarder...Four of his punts exceeded 50 yards and 15 were downed inside the 20-yard line...Completed his lone pass attempt for 5 yards.

Started all 11 games for MSU at the punter position during his true freshman season...Punted 69 times for 2,891 yards, a 41.9-yard average...Finished third in the SEC and 33rd nationally in punting average...He led the league in punt attempts...Fourteen of his punts were 50 yards or longer and 14 were downed inside the 20-yard line...Had nine touchbacks...Averaged better than 40 yards per punt in a game six times during the 11-game schedule...Had a season-long 68-yard punt, the second-longest in the conference.

SuperPrep Magazine rated him No. 20 among the top prospects in the state in its pre-signing day all-America issue...A starter during his high school career at quarterback, safety, punter and place-kicker...Accumulated 4,241 yards passing with 28 touchdowns, 1,751 yards rushing and 33 scores, and 264 tackles, 15 for loss, and eight interceptions on defense during his career...Averaged over 39 yards per punt for his prep career...Also handled all kickoff duties on the high school level...Named all-state in Tennessee following his senior season at defensive back playing at Ripley (TN) HS...Selected to the AP all-state team for all classifications and for Class 3A, to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association for Class 3A, and to two coaches' all-state squads...Named all-state at punter by CoachT.com web site...Also chosen Player of the Year in Region 7 Class 3A for a second straight year, as well as the region's top punter...Was chosen the West TN Special Teams Player of the Year...Averaged 43.4 yards a punt with better than a four-sec hang time during his senior season...Added more than 904 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns, and 781 yards passing with five scores, and made 141 tackles during that senior campaign...Also had seven tackles for loss and three pass interceptions during his final prep season...Also chosen one of three finalists for the Mr. Football award for offensive and defensive backs in the state's Class 3A division...Passed for 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior quarterback...Averaged 38.2 yards per punt that season...Chosen to play in the Tennessee-Kentucky all-star football game...Also a standout baseball player on the prep level, earning all-state recognition during both his junior and senior seasons...Other top scholarship offer: Ole Miss.
