Biography:

One of the top two-way linemen in the Tampa area, Popek really emerged as a senior. He played at 6-5 and 230 as a senior before putting together a great senior year at a much bigger size. Popek also, paved the way for two backs that combined for more than 1,400 yards, and was named All-Hillsborough first team
