| Norwood seems to always have a hand in the play on both sides of the field. As a safety he has shown ball hawking skills and a nose for making the play in run support. Kevin is an explosive offensive player who is a threat to take it the distance any time he touches the football. He has great length and his frame will allow him to add some muscle without hurting is overall quickness or speed. |

2008Named 1st team All-State by the Clarion Ledger. Norwood, who recorded 10 interceptions, earned the Sun Herald’s South Mississippi Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named Mr. South Mississippi Football, Orlando Sentinel All-Southern Team (MS), MS Coaches Association 4A First Team All-State.
Had 64 receptions for 1,100 yards, 13 touchdowns to go along with 10 interceptions.
Selected to play in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game.
Norwood had 64 receptions for 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns. Norwood had 10 interceptions on defense.
