| A corner with the size of a safety, Kirkpatrick is as advertised from a physical standpoint. He is very long and does not get beat on jump balls. Is a momentum player, so success early is good. Needs to be more physical at the LOS, especially when matching up with bigger, more physical receivers. As dangerous with the ball as anybody, he could actually star on either side of the ball--Burke Hayes |

2008 Stats: Recorded 44 total tackles, with 24 solo and 20 assists, six interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and ten pass breakups. Kirkpatrick also returned three punts for 104 yards.
2008 Awards: 6A Back of the Year. Birmingham News Super Senior Pre-season, Mobile Register's Super Southeast 120 ranked #3, Orlando Sentinel All-Southern Team, ASWA Super 12, ASWA 6A All-State First Team, USA Today All-USA, and Parade All-American.
2007: First team ASWA All-State as a junior defensive back.
Rated the No. 1 player in the state of Alabama. |
