| A huge QB who has emerged as one of the top signal callers this spring, Mettenberger has the most upside in a very talented class. Has a very big arm and can easily make the toughest throws. Has good mechanics but is growing so fast that he has trouble keeping up with his body. Is in control most of the time and has the arm to punish both zone and man schemes. 2008:Mettenberger threw for 2,016 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also ran for another four touchdowns and threw only six interceptions.
The future Dawg will move to Athens January 4 to begin his career.
Mettenberger was given Honorable Mention 3A QB by the AJC, Mobile Press Register Super Southeast 120.
