| Edwards is a blue collar player. he shows up everyday and goes to work. Very good straightline spoeed, not a lot of wiggle. Plays bigger than he is. Can run by you or through you. Has outstanding hands and runs precise routes. Does not show a lot of elusiveness. He will explode through a ball carrier and finish a tackle. |
| Biography: |
As a senior, Edwards played mostly wing-back on offense, ringing up over 700 yards and 10 touchdowns receiving. He also averaged eight tackles a game on defense and had six sacks and two interceptions. He was named first-team All-League at wide receiver.
As a junior, Edwards played running back, wide receiver, kick returner, strong safety and outside linebacker for Holliston High School. He rushed for roughly 1000 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 500 yards and four touchdowns as a receiver. On the defensive side of the ball he intercepted six passes and also returned three kickoffs for touchdown. Edwards earned first-team All-League honors that season. |
