| Named the CCS Defensive Player of the Year in 2007 as well as league Defensive Player of the Year and First Team all-Area by the San Jose Mercury News. Was named All-Metro First Team (CCS + NCS) at linebacker by the San Francisco Gate.
Finished the season with 155 tackles (81 solos), a Los Gatos school record (breaking the mark of 153, held by his older brother). Offensively, had 35 receptions for 559 yards and seven touchdowns. Part of offensive line that had a 2,000+ yard rusher.
Had 143 tackles and five sacks with two fumble recoveries and an interception during the 2006 season at Los Gatos (Calif.). Had double-digit tackles 10 times. Earned all-league honors and was named the Outstanding Inside Linebacker for the DeAnza League. Also had 13 receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown. |
