2007: Berard was named two-time All-Mission Conference after recording 54 tackles, 18 for losses, with 10.5 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble from his rush end position in 2007.
Berard led the Mission Conference in sacks with 1.05 per game and was third in the conference in tackles for loss. He was named a unanimous first team Mission Conference American.
2006: Berard recorded 68 total tackles, seven for losses, four sacks and 19 quarterback hurries. He helped lead his team to the 2006 California State Championship with a 12-2 record.
