Cody was honored with All-American NJCAA First Team for his defensive line play in 2007. The MACJC Southern Division MVP and number one ranked junior college player in Mississippi pushed through double and triple teams this season to get 31 tackles, five for a loss of yards and three and a half sacks. Cody's team finished the regular season 11-0.
Started as a freshman at MGCCC. Projected as one of the most highly recruited players in the Mississippi junior college ranks in 2007.
