2006 (Freshman): Washington appeared in six games with 29 snaps. He tallied a season-high 11 plays against Florida International. He had five snaps against Mississippi State, four plays at Florida and LSU, three plays at Tennessee and two snaps against Louisiana Monroe.
2005: Redshirted
Prep: After signing with the Tide in 2004, Washington played in the fall at Hargrave Military.
As a prep senior, he was one of the most-watched prospects at Grayson High School. He was a first-team Class 3A All-State selection and was listed by SuperPrep magazine as the 14th best overall player in Georgia and No. 18 at his position by TheInsiders.com. He was a third-team member of Fox Sports Nets “All-South” squad.
He finished his senior campaign with 60 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles.
