| Williams may remind many of another Hokie cornerback in Jimmy Williams with his size and ability to change directions quickly, showing good closing speed to the ball. He tackles with authority and wraps up, making it tough for receivers to pick up yards after contact. He is a bit high in his backpedal, however he shows good hips and leaping ability, playing the ball well. He should fit in very nicely as a boundary corner. |

| As a junior, Williams played cornerback, safety, wide receiver, quarterback, kick returner, and punter for Fayetteville (N.C.) Westover. He totaled 68 tackles and caught 15 passes for 270 yards. Williams also excels in the classroom. He maintains an un-weighted 3.5 grade-point-average, and participates in school programs such as the Freshmen Academy – where he tutors freshmen – and the Health Academy – which is a preparatory program for students interested in a health major in college. |
