| Biography: |
A demon on the defensive line, Dareus plays inside at tackle and outside at end. While he has the quickness as an end in college, his future is likely at defensive tackle with his size. He controls his blockers, has a lightning quick first step, and is tenacious in pursuit. He's the total package on the defensive line.
2007 Senior Stats: Dareus recorded 107 tackles, 19.5 sacks and returned a fumble for a touchdown. Dareus was recognized by the ASWA All-State Honorable Mention and made the Press-Register's Elite 18, AJC Super Southern 100 DT.
In 2006 Dareus blocked seven kicks, made 10 sacks and recovered three fumbles. |
