Biography:

A talented safety prospect, Bates finished the 10-game regular season with 62 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He'll be a three-year starter this fall for a team that's played in two straight Class 4A state championship games.

His twin brother, Graham, is also a Division 1A prospect and his father, Bill, played in the NFL.
