| Mauti has good size, strength, and speed. He plays well laterally, moving sideline to sideline. Mauti is also very tough with things coming right at him. He fights off blockers well and finds the ball. Once he gets to the ball carrier Mauti brings a physical attitude and style with him. He’s aggressive and plays with a nasty streak. Mauti also plays hard on every down. Mauti tackles well and shows good instincts, vision and agility. |

| (Jr.) Finished with 121 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions (both returned for touchdowns) and two forced fumbles.
Mauti benches 340 pounds, squats 420, has a 385 pound power clean and a 33-inch vertical jump.
Mauti reports a 3.0 core GPA and a 22 ACT.
Mauti: "I'm always going towards the ball. I move well sideline-to-sideline and have a nose for the ball. I never stop going and play hard through all four quarters. I play hard and hit big.
"I need to work on wrapping up on tackles and not missing any tackles. I'm also working on improving my open-field tackling and technique."
