| Stuckey could play safety, linebacker or running back in college, though he'll probably end up at weakside linebacker at the next level. He's got great athleticism, moves well vertically and has good instincts. A little undersized for linebacker, he may be best suited for safety, but with his awareness and ability to tackle, will make for a good college backer. |
| Biography: |
| As a senior, had 134 solo tackles and 204 total tackles, 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. Carried the ball 74 times for 514 yards and scored 10 touchdowns.
Dewitt Stuckey finished his junior season with 116 tackles, four sacks, two fumbles caused, two recovered and one interception. He also rushed the ball for three touchdowns; Stuckey benches 310 pounds, squats 390 pounds and has a 29-inch vertical jump.
Stuckey reports a 3.0 core and an 840 SAT.
Stuckey: "I read and react very well. I know where the ball is going and get there. I can run down running backs and play very intense. I fly to the ball and deliver hits. I'm like Ray Lewis.
"I want to improve my overall speed and take better angles. By taking better angles I'll be able to stop the running back quicker and gain a yard or two. I also want to get better at taking on blocks and shedding blocks. I'm working on my technique."
