| Biography: |
Michael had a steller high school career and recorded over 1,900 yards of offense as a senior. Ricks led the state of Alabama with 16 interceptions.
He was later named the Class 1A MVP for his play and also played in MS/AL all-star game.

A two-year starter at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Miss.; ACJC (Mississippi Association of Community/Junior College);
All-State selection as both a freshman and sophomore.
Named First Team All-Region 23 following his sophomore season with the Tigers.
As a sophomore in 2006, Ricks started at safety for Northeast as well as returned kicks. Finished the 2006 season as the fifth-best kick returner in Mississippi, averaging 24.8 yards per return with a long of 59 yards.
Ricks recorded 48 tackles and six interceptions in 2005.
HS: Ricks starred on the hardcourt and was a finalist for Class 1A Mr. Basketball by the Alabama Sports Writers Association and led the Chiefs to the Final Four in Birmingham.
