| Jones has great size and will surprise you with his athletic ability and big play capability. He has a strong arm and throws a nice deep ball. Jones keeps his eyes down field, holds his composure and shows good pocket presence. When Jones has time to throw, set and plant his feet, he can throw with velocity and accuracy, especially on the short and intermediate throws. Jones has elusiveness in the pocket as well and can throw on the run. |

| As a junior, Jones was 211 of 310 for 3,433 yards and 45 touchdowns with only nine interceptions. He also rushed 57 times for 249 yards and nine touchdowns. Jones was named the state 4A player of the year.
