| Kuraczea was a two-way lineman in high school and was of All-State caliber playing both. While he is a bit short, it only helps him play with better leverage off the snap. Coupled with his very strong lower and upper body, that gives him the ability to get a great punch at the point of attack and drive defenders in the run game. He also has decent feet and can get to the second level. He may not be an elite athlete however. |

| As a junior at Ansonia, Kuraczea registered 70 tackles and 14.5 sacks earning him first team All-Area and All-State honors. He was also named Defensive Player of the Year
by the Hartford Current.
