Everyone should have been pleased with the announcement that Bill Hancock, who has headed up the BCS, is the main man for the College Football Playoff system that will begin at the end of the 2014 season. The determination that a committee will choose the four participating teams was met with as much glee as for the job the NCAA Men’s Basketball Selection Committee does. That’s “Not much.”
