Don McNeal was All-America for Alabama		By Arnold P. Steadham Date: Mar 5, 2007 Raised in the South Alabama community of McCullough with his nine siblings, Don McNeal, suffered tragedy at the early age of six when his mother died due to a brain hemorrhage. His strong-willed father, Henry, thrust into the role of single parent, reared his children by adhering to principles of teamwork that are documented in McNeal’s recently published autobiography, “Home Team Advantage.”
