The SEC and Bama in the NFL draft
the Falcons drafted Waine Bacon		By J.E. Lisby Date: Apr 28, 2003 After being shut out the first day of the NFL draft, five Alabama athletes were selected Sunday in rounds four through seven. In the Southeastern Conference, Tennessee and Florida both had eight players selected, while league champion Georgia contributed seven. The Auburn Tigers were the only league team with no athletes drafted.
