From the Locker Room

Posted Jan 3, 2009

As did the SEC Championship game earlier in the season, the Allstate Sugar Bowl had a mandatory open-locker policy.

BamaMag.com spoke on camera with Courtney Upshaw and Kareem Jackson after the game.

Upshaw is a linebacker who played mostly on special teams this year, but made a huge impression on the kickoff team. He's listed at 6-2, 230 pounds in Alabama's media guide. He talked about his play this year and prospects for next season.

Jackson, meanwhile, has started at cornerback for Alabam all season. The sophomore was still scratching his head at Utah's no huddle offense that left the Bama D in the dust.
