Alabama Statistics From Second Scrimmage

Alabama Football Coach Nick Saban puts a Catch 22 on sportswriters. He doesn't allow reporters to watch his team scrimmage. He then passes out statistics and says the media will twist them. Obviously, a reporter can't report on information he doesn't have, so one can't know if a player is working with the first team against the third, the third against the first, etc.

Alabama went to Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday for its second scrimmage of spring pactice. Next Saturday Bama will be back in the stadium for the annual A-Day Game, which begins at 2 p.m. CDT.

Coach Saban said he thought there was improvement by the offense. The raw numbers reflect that. Here are the statistics provided by The University's media relations office.
