Chris Rogers is now at safety

He's not ready to join Gilligan, the Skipper on any of the other castaways, but Alabama safety-turned-cornerback Chris Rogers likes his new position. It didn't take a whole lot of convincing when the rising junior was approached by Defensive Coordinator Kirby Smart and Head Coach Nick Saban.

Chris Rogers had spent a redshirt year at cornerback under former Alabama Coach Mike Shula, so it was not completely foreign territory for the long-time special teams‚ ace.
