When Major Applewhite was playing quarterback for Texas, Crimson Tide fans who knew Applewhite had grown up a Bama fan could only dream about how much better things would be if he had been playing for the Crimson Tide. (Applewhite was not recruited by Coach Mike DuBose's staff.)
