"They couldn't get a better choice," Prattville Defensive Coordinator Duwan Walker said. "He's a leader on-and-off the field. He will take the bull by the horns. Alabama can expect excellence from him."

Gentry recorded 100 tackles, 52 for loss and 22 sacks during his junor campaign. He was named Class 6A All-State for his efforts.
The Prattville Lions finished 11-1 in 2005 and will make another run for the state championship in 2006. They will open their season with Gulf Shores September 1.
