Prattville DL Greenwood Joins '05 Class

Prattville defensive lineman Bobby Greenwood signed with Alabama on Wednesday and was confirmed by the University Wednesday afternoon.

Bobby Greenwood, 6-5, 240 pounds, is a three-star prospect ranked the 10th-best in Alabama by He finished his senior season with 120 tackles and 19 sacks, helping Prattiville to the 6A state championship game. He was named Alabama’s Class 6A Lineman of the Year.

Greenwood chose Alabama over Auburn and Florida State. He publicly committed to Alabama on Tuesday.

In addition to Greenwood Alabama also won head-to-head battles with Auburn in signing Kentucky defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick and Stevenson running back Ali Sharrief.
