Elizabethtown, Kentucky defensive end Brandon Deaderick signed with Alabama Wednesday morning.

Brandon Deaderick, 6-5, 255 pounds, is a four-star player and member of Scout.com’s South Hot 100. He had 71 tackles, six sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery while missing four games in his senior season. Deaderick was a first team all-state player.

Deaderick chose Alabama over Auburn and Louisville, committing publicly on January 21.

He reports a 2.4 grade point average and a score of 21 on the ACT.

"I like (Alabama) because I feel in with their defense more than I would anywhere else and I would excel more there," Deaderick said. "The broadcasting school at Alabama also played a big part in my decision."
