Tide Signs Pinson WR Jennings

Alabama signed Desmond Jennings, one of the state's top receiver prospects, on Wednesday.

Desmond Jennings, a 6-2, 180 pound three-sport athlete played baseball, basketball and football at Pinson Valley High.

He moved from receiver to quarterback in his senior season and also played safety on defense. As a junior receiver Jennings caught 31 passes for 610 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was recruited as a receiver by Alabama.

He also had seven rushes for 118 yards and two touchdowns as a junior.

Jennings is expected to enroll in junior college and before suiting up for a Division I team.
