LaMarcus Coker
is one of the top running backs in the country. He is a member of
TheInsiders National Hot 100
and is rated as the number two running back. He has been committed to Tennessee since December, but he plans on visiting at least three other schools.
"I am still firmly committed to
Tennessee
, but I will take some visits to make sure about some things. I plan to visit
Auburn
,
Arkansas
, and
Alabama
," said
LaMarcus Coker
.
The star running back has a few things to consider before signing day.
"I really want to look at the academics at some of the other schools. I want to check out how many running backs are on their roster. I want to look at the team as a whole. I want to see if that team has a chance to make a National Championship run."
Coker has also expressed the importance of the coaching staff.
"I want there to be great coaching stability. I don't want to go somewhere and they change coaches after a few years and the new coach not use the running backs as much," Coker added.
Coker visited one summer camp but did not participate.
"I went to the Tennessee Senior Camp. I just watched because I had pulled my hamstring in the track state championship. I don't plan to go to anymore camps because football practice starts in a few weeks," Coker said.
Offers continue to roll in for the Tennessee commitment. "I do have offers from all the schools I plan to visit. I received a new offer last week from
Kentucky
."
