Andrew Farr
of Pell City High School has been taking several unofficial visits this spring. Farr is a big interior lineman that will get some looks from colleges in the south.
"I went to
Clemson
a few weeks ago and I went to
Alabama
's A-Day game,"
Andrew Farr
said.
"It was the second time to go to Clemson and it was really awesome. The offensive line coach talked to me about a lot of stuff and it was really cool to have a chance to speak to him," Farr replied.
Farr was in Tuscaloosa for the A-Day game and said, "I have been an Alabama fan my whole life. With my brother (
Jeffrey Farr
)going to
Mississippi State
, I am still in love with Alabama. But whoever offers me, that's where I will go." Farr's brother, Jeffrey, signed with the Bulldogs this past February.
Farr is anxious to get some things going with Alabama. "I spoke with Coach Ungerer and Coach Ross and they told me what they required. They like my size and want to see some more game tape of me," Farr added.
Farr has his top five and said, "Alabama, Mississippi State, Clemson,
Ole Miss
, and
Florida State
."
Farr readily admits his strengths on the field as blocking and pass rushing and wants to improve on pass protection.
Farr knows a primary position in high school may not be the same position you will play in college. ""My brother played tackle in high school and Mississippi State wants him as a center or guard. I think I might want to play guard in college," Farr added.
Farr was named All-County and All-State Honorable Mention his junior year.
