Without a commitment on its 2016 list until Sunday, Alabama
has caught up in a hurry.
Benito Jones began the momentum on Sunday with a commitment while on campus, and on Tuesday Shyheim Carter and Demetris Robertson have done the same.
Robertson long had Alabama and UCLA in his top two, holding offers from both, before the family decision to commit to Nick Saban and company while in Tuscaloosa for camp.
A versatile talent at Savannah (Ga.) Country Day High School at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Scout.com currently tabs Robertson as a wide receiver and the No. 15 prospect at his position in the early class of 2016 rankings.
The Scout 100 talent is Alabama's initial offensive projection at this time.

Alabama kicked off its 2016 class on Sunday with its first rising-junior pledge, and it added another pair on Tuesday. Scout 100 wide receiver Demetris Robertson made his verbal pledge on Tuesday afternoon.
