Tide Moves Inside On Cold, Wet Day

What does a football team do two days from the official start of spring when it's trying to have spring practice and the temperature is in the 40s and it's damp? In the case of Alabama, it heads indoors.

The Alabama football team held its second of 15 spring practices on Monday at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility, working for two hours in shorts and helmets.

The Crimson Tide will practice two additional times this week on Wednesday and Friday before taking a week off for spring break (March 24-28). Alabama then resumes spring practice with the fifth of 15 spring sessions on Monday, March 31.

Wednesday is the only day this week Coach Nick Saban and players will be available for post-practice interviews with daily coverage reporters.

Alabama's 2014 A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. (CDT) inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game is once again free to the public and will be televised live on ESPNU.

Part of the ESPN crew was in Tuscaloosa Monday covering the Tide practice.
