The final state rankings for the Southeast for the class of 2014..…
Here's How I Keep Up With Recruiting
First of all, I want to know if they are really Alabama prospects. Fortunately, John Garcia, Jr., who handles recruiting for Scout.com in the state of Alabama and is heavily involved in all prospects connected with the Crimson Tide, does an outstanding job. Thanks to John, I know which prospects are committed to Alabama and which are being pursued by Bama.
I also want to know a few other things about, say, J.C. Hassenauer.
Since the early enrollees are already enrolled, I want them separated from the prospects who, theoretically, are less committed because they haven't signed anything.
I want to know their approximate heights and weights. We still depend on the honor system by the prospects for some of that, although we get most of them in camps and can get a true height, weight, and 40-time on most of them. The only other area in which prospects have been known to fudge is in the academics area, reporting their grade point average and standardized test scores. Where is he from?
I want to know how they are rated (star system) and ranked (third best right tackle, etc.).
The February 5 Signing Day is getting closer and closer, so I have poured through the Scout.com tables produced by John and come up with my own little sheet to keep up these last few weeks. And I share it with you.
