Watch A.J. McCarron speak to the media after Alabama's big win over Arkansas.

Heisman Trophy candidate A.J. McCarron continued his ascent on the Alabama (7-0, 4-0) career record books Saturday night as the Tide dominated Arkansas (3-4, 0-4) 52-0 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The fifth-year senior, the school career record-holder for touchdown passes, threw for three more giving him a total of 63. Eight different Bama receivers caught passes from the Mobile native.

McCarron finished the night with 180 yards passing on an efficient 15 for 21 with no interceptions. He is second on the all-time Alabama career passing yardage list with 7,543, trailing John Parker Wilson (2005-08) by just 381 yards. His 586 completions leave him 79 shy of John Parker Wilson’s school record. Ranked No. 2 all-time in total career yardage with 7,494, he is now within 605 yards of tying John Parker Wilson at 8,099. Jalston Fowler and Amari Cooper recorded their fourth and first touchdown receptions of the season. True freshman O.J. Howard caught his first collegiate touchdown pass on a 17-yard 3rd quarter toss. McCarron has thrown a total of 14 touchdown passes this season.

The QB spoke to the media soon after the win.
