Second Week Has Mostly Cupcakes

We got off to a great start last week with our Almost Perfect Picks of Southeastern Conference games. Well, actually, we were a day late starting since two games had been played before we gave you the result. (We were perfect on those two, South Carolina over North Carolina and Ole Miss over Vanderbilt!) Not including those, because some were skeptical of our claim, our first week record was 10-1.

The only one we truly cared about in the opening week was Alabama, and we picked the Crimson Tide to win, though we were off a bit on the score, going with Tide 42, Virginia Tech 6. It was only 35-10. We were particularly good on our pick of Clemson 39, Georgia 35. It was 38-35 in favor of the Fighting Dabos. We missed on Kentucky, but our hearts were hardly in it.
