Alabama Dominates All-America Squad
Alabama, winner of the past two national championships and three in the past four years, has dominated college football under Coach Nick Saban and Bama was dominant on the Sporting News preseason All-America team for 2013.
Senior linebacker C.J. Mosley was joined by junior safety HaHa Clinton-Dix on the first-team defense while senior guard Anthony Steen, sophomore tailback T.J. Yeldon, and sophomore wide receiver Amari Cooper were on the first team offense.
Mosely led the team a year ago with 107 tackles while Clinton-Dix had a team- and SEC-high five interceptions. Steen helped clear the way for 445.5 Alabama yards per game of total offense while Cooper set freshman records for receiving yards (1,000), receiving touchdowns (11, also a school record), and receptions (59).
