The Alabama men's basketball team will take on the Stanford Cardinal in the second round of the 2013 National Invitation Tournament on Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. CDT (noon EDT), officials announced late Tuesday night.
Top-seeded
Alabama
advanced to the second round of this year's event on the strength of a 62-43 win over No. 8 seed Northeastern.
Stanford
, the No. 4 seed, slipped past fifth-seeded Stephen F. Austin, 58-57, on Tuesday night.
General admission tickets for the Alabama-Stanford game are on sale beginning Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. CDT.
All customers are encouraged to purchase online and use the “print at home” delivery method to avoid lines at the Will Call window, regardless of whether they are purchasing general admission or reserved seats.
All seats for the NIT are general admission, except courtside (front court and back court) and baseline seating areas.
Ticket prices are as follows: $10 for courtside seats (front court and back court) and baseline reserved seats (those tickets are available only to regular season courtside and baseline ticket holders); $9 for adult general admission seats; $4 for general admission tickets for youths age 18 and under; and $4 for UA Students who present a valid I.D.
To reserve their floor seats, courtside and baseline regular season ticket holders must order tickets by Thursday, March 21 at 5 p.m.
Courtside and baseline season ticket holders will receive an email to reserve their floor seats online. Courtside and baseline season ticket holders can also call the Ticket/TIDE PRIDE office beginning Wednesday at 8 a.m. CDT.
Any remaining available courtside (front court and back court) and baseline reserved seats will be put on sale to the general public on Thursday at 8 a.m. CDT.
Tickets can be purchased on the phone (205-348-2262) or in person at the Coleman Coliseum Ticket Office beginning Wednesday morning.
The Coleman Coliseum Club Room will not be open for NIT games.
All regular basketball game parking lots will be open and available, except for parking spaces reserved for handicapped/disabled patrons. Parking passes that were issued for the regular season games will not be valid or in effect for any hosted NIT games.
