Tenpenny on tape

Altee Tenpenny

An ankle injury limited Altee Tenpenny as a junior, but he bounced back in 2012 with a great season to solidify his status as the best player in the state of Arkansas. Take a look at the Alabama signee's efforts inside.

Prospect: Altee Tenpenny

Vitals: 6-foot, 203 lbs

Position: Running Back

Class: 2013

School: North Little Rock (Ark.) High

Recruiting: Signed with Alabama

Quick Take: Tenpenny's footwork, balance and breakaway speed make him one of the truly elite backs in the country. While he is still working to come full circle after an ankle injury, his natural ability screams Alabama football. He still needs to work on his strength and power at the end of runs, though he actually has the frame to add weight as he transitions to the SEC which can help that improvement. Tenpenny isn't a polished pass-catcher, but he's a willing blocker that knows how to carry the load.
