The Southeastern Conference has announced its 2013 baseball television schedule, the fourth under the league’s 15-year agreement with ESPN. Alabama team will make six television appearances this season.
Alabama

The entire SEC broadcast package, which includes all 17 games for the 2013 SEC Baseball Tournament, will total more than 70 contests. The championship game of the tournament will air nationally on ESPN2, and for the first time the semifinals will also air nationally, on ESPNEWS. The package is derived from broadcasts on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, Fox Sports and CSS. In addition, WatchESPN/ESPN3 will also stream most contests live online.
Alabama is slated to make its first television appearance on Saturday, March 30, for the series finale at
Auburn
and will be televised by CSS. First pitch for the game at Plainsman Park is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT. The Tide will appear on CSS for the second time on Sunday, April 14, for the series finale at Mississippi at 1 p.m. CT.
ESPNU’s Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week schedule will begin on March 28, and run eight weeks through May 16. Alabama will appear on the ESPNU Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week on April 4, when it hosts the
Arkansas
Razorbacks at 7 p.m. CT. UA will also appear on ESPNU on Friday, May 3, for the series opener at
Mississippi State
at 6 p.m. CT.
Alabama’s two FSN appearances will be Saturday, April 20, against
LSU
at 7 p.m. CT and Saturday, May 11, against
Missouri
at 1 p.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide's season and home opener is set for Friday, Feb. 15, at 6:05 p.m., when Alabama hosts the VMI Keydets in the first game of a three-game series at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
