Less than 24 hours after Brad Lawing left for Florida, South Carolina has found a new defensive line coach.

Steve Spurrier and defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward have named Deke Adams of North Carolina to fill the vacancy.

Adams just finished his first season in Chapel Hill as UNC's defensive line coach.

He also spent time coaching at Louisiana-Monroe and North Carolina A&T.
