Alabama well represented at AA games

Not only will a certain game on January 7 feature heavy Alabama influence on a national scale, but a trio of All-American games will do the same for future Alabama players currently at the high school level.

Recruiting never stops.

It's a known fact in today's landscape of college football, but what has changed perhaps the most alongside the technology and fandom associated with the constant recruiting cycle is the persuading that goes on among recruits themselves.

While the summer camp circuit and big events like The Opening provide a venue for some of it, the final push has shifted to the notionally televised All-American games. The Under Armour game in Florida, the Army game in Texas and even the Semper Fi game in California all provide week-long grounds for recruits to mingle just weeks before most sign their letters of intent.

The 2013 cycle is no different, and the University of Alabama will be well represented in both commits and top recruiting targets in each game. The Under Armour game alone features six current commits, including its newest pledge Robert Foster and fellow five-stars Cooper Bateman, O.J. Howard and Demarcus Walker.

But the bigger story here could be who is targeting alongside the Tide commits during the firs week of 2013. For example, Team Highlight (Black Team) features a half-dozen 'Bama commits, and one of the highest targets on the staff's board in five-star defensive back Vonn Bell. In between practices, events and team bonding on campus, recruiting and final pushes to bolster each school's class will certainly be going on.

Each game has interesting pairings and targets for Alabama, so BamaMag.com will keep track of it all after the holidays. Get a preview of who my be looking to court who inside the premium forum, or simply by clicking HERE.
