Alabama began preparing for Ole Miss and its up-tempo, no-huddle offense Monday afternoon. Weather conditions in Tuscaloosa were practically perfect with sunny skies and temperatures in the high 70s.
The media was granted one viewing period. Here are some observations.
-As expected, nose guard Brandon Ivory did not practice. Head coach Nick Saban said Monday morning that Ivory, who sprained his ankle against Florida Atlantic, will be day-to-day status.
-Wide receiver Kevin Norwood, who didn't play against FAU on Saturday, was dressed out but did not participate in drill while reporters were present.
-Cornerback Dee Milliner is still wearing a small cast on his right wrist, but was not limited.
Below is a video of the outside linebackers (Adrian Hubbard, Xzavier Dickson, Denzel Devall and others) during drills.
