After pounding Florida Atlantic 40-7 Saturday, the Crimson Tide remains the No. 1 team in both the AP and Coaches' polls.

For the fourth week in a row, Alabama is the No. 1 team in both the Associated Press and USA TODAY/Coaches’ polls.

After pummeling Florida Atlantic 40-7 Saturday, the Crimson Tide is outscoring opponents 168-21 through four games.

Alabama received 59 of 60 first-place votes in the AP (LSU had one) and 57 of 59 in the Coaches (LSU and Oregon split the other two).

In both sets of rankings, Oregon hopped over LSU for the No. 2 spot and Florida State and Georgia round out the top five.

South Carolina comes in at No. 6, giving the SEC four of the top six spots in both polls.
