The number is 10. Alabama had its 10th practice of the spring Monday, marking the two-thirds mark of drills. And there continues to be conversation about whether Alabama can avoid the collapse of 2010, when Bama won only 10 games after winning the national championship a season earlier. Taking part in the discussion Monday was No. 10, Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron.

A.J. McCarron did his part as Alabama won the 2011 national championship. In his first year as Bama's starting quarterback, the upcoming junior led the Tide to a 12-1 record and was Offensive Most Valuable Player in Alabama's 21-0 win over LSU in the BCS National Championship Game.
