Luke Ward visits Alabama
"The visit to Alabama went very well," said Luke Ward. "We got there and had a little tour of the facilities. I got to sit through the quarterback meeting and team meeting. We went and watched practice. "I only really talked to coach Nussmeier. He was telling me he was glad to have me. He told me I was welcomed to come any time. He was happy I could see how the coaches do things there. Ward talked more about watching the 2011 BCS National Champions go through one of their spring practices. "I loved the practice," he said. "It's something I definitely can see myself being a part of in the future. It's real professional. There isn't much not to like about them." The 6-foot-2, 180-pound signal caller is receiving a lot of early attention from the Tide. "They are the ones who are showing the most interest in me right now," Ward said. "They invited me to the Junior Day and spring practice. They have a winning program and tradition. I love it there." Ward has also been in contact with Georgia and plans to attend the Mississippi State spring game. Follow Andrew Bone on TWITTER for the very latest recruiting news.
