FoxSportsNext/Scout.com has released the updated Top 300 football prospects in the country. The rankings were expanded with 500 players rated in the country. All of Alabama’s commitments were ranked among the nation’s best.
Reuben Foster
, five-star linebacker from LaGrange-Troup County, Ga., is the highest rated
Alabama
commitment. Foster is the No. 2 overall prospect in the country behind
Robert Nkemdiche
, five-star defensive end from Logansville-Grayson, Ga.
O.J. Howard
, tight end from Prattville-Autauga Academy, Ala., is rated the No. 36 overall prospect and the second highest rated Alabama commitment. He is ranked the No. 2 tight end in the country. Howard has four-stars next to his name, but will receive his 5th star.
Ardarius Stewart
, four-star wide receiver from Birmingham-Fultondale, Ala., checks in at No. 85. He is ranked the No. 3 overall prospect in the state. Scout.com ranks Stewart the No. 14 receiver in the country.
Altee Tenpenny
, four-star running back from North Little Rock, Ark., was under consideration for a five-star rating. Tenpenny ranks No. 83 overall after missing his entire junior season with an injury. He is ranked the No. 12 running back in the country. He will have a chance to move up in the rankings with a strong senior season.
Tyren Jones
, four-star from Marietta-Walton, Ga., is rated the No. 98 overall prospect. He is rated the No. 14 running back in the country.
Grant Hill
, four-star offensive guard from Huntsville, Ala., fell just outside the top 100 at No. 139. He is ranked the No. 5 offensive guard prospect in the country.
Artie Burns
, four-star cornerback from Miami-Northwestern, Fla., is No. 170 prospect. He is ranked the No. 12 cornerback in the country.
Alabama has nine commitments in the class of 2013. FoxSportsNext/Scout.com lists seven of the players inside the Top 300.
Raheem Falkins
, three-star wide receiver from New Orleans-Carver, La., ranked the No. 43 receiver in the country.
Bradley Bozeman
, three-star from Roanoke-Handley, Ala., is rated the No. 20 offensive guard in the country.
